Mariya Mirova

Мирова Мария

10-years old Mariya Mirova from  Meleuz (Bashkortostan) is a student at MBEI Gimnasium 1. She is the First degree laureate for the III All-Russia festival-contest of children's and youth creativity (nomination ‘Stage vocal’ – ‘Golden Peregrine’, Khumertau, April, 2013), the Second degree laureate for the IV International festival of children's and youth creativity ‘Lighting Stars’ ( nomination ‘Stage vocal’, Izevsk, June, 2013), lots of other musical competitions and festivals in Ufa, Kazan, Belek, Moscow, Vitebsk and many others. She is also a finalist (backup - second place) for the Russian national selection for competition ‘Children's Eurovision – 2015’ (Moscow, September, 2015).

Masha is fond of watching cartoons, playing the piano, drawing, free time  at home or on the seaside, swimming and cycling. She has no lessons that she would not love at school, and the most favorite is the Russian language classes, ‘It’s where we are taught to speak and express our thoughts in the right way.’ Masha likes Dima Bilan as a singer, and he acted as her mentor in one of her projects, so the girl would be glad to perform together with him. The greatest dream of Mirova is to become a famous singer, and to be stared in a comedy, ‘It would be fun.’

Masha thinks that the most important human traits are kindness and the power of will. She has no idols, either in life, or music, ‘Because you should be yourself and never copycat anybody. As for music, I love different music styles.’

She  sings since she was five, loves France, music of Beethoven, puzzles, casual style in clothing, all shades of blue, pink, and what's more – beautiful dresses! She’s crazy about lifestories, jazz, stage pop music, New Year and her own birthday. She would drive a Time Machine to the XIX century, ‘To look how people lived and their style of dressing. Their clothes were so beautiful !.’ She is inspired by music and takes a hand in writing music herself:  the beginning of a new song is already written! She could name her debut album “The Wind of Changes”.

‘I’ve came to the ‘ New Wave Junior’ with a great joy: I’ve intended to try myself at the new level long ago, and finally I managed to do it! While choosing the program for the contest, I first of all paid attention to the tonality and meaning of the song, its message. My choice is approved by my friends and relatives. I’m so happy because my friends like my creativity! Of the ‘New Wave Junior’ previous performers I liked the style of Sofia Tarasova, Katya Maneshina and ‘Wild Guitars’! Today I wish all the finalists good luck. May the strongest win!!!.’
