The EY`WA trio

trio-eiva

Sofia Kvaratskhelia, Camilla Ismailova and Helena Meraai – the EY`WA trio from Moscow.

13-year-old Sofia is the winner of various international music competitions, the finalist of the ‘Voice. Kids’ song contest; she also takes parts in films, and acts in the theater. She played a major role in the world’s first 3D musical called ‘Pola Negri’ (in St. Petersburg, and for one year in Moscow in the Russian Army Theatre). She provided her voice for the title role in the animated series of ‘Sofia the First’. She loves reading, drawing, spending time on the seaside, swimming all day long. She also goes in for skiing, roller-skating and ice-skating. Her dream is to become a world famous singer. The most appreciated traits of character is the ability to be compassionate, honest and generous. She openly admits that she does not like to be like everyone else, ‘I can easily role-play a shocking character!’. Sonia loves to learn, ‘But when I have too much to do in my creative work, it would be desirable that the school adapts to me. Alas, it does not happen. And you have to overcome yourself to catch up with the curriculum. It makes me stronger. I prove to myself, to the class and the teachers that I am Ok, and that I can keep up with the school. This is like being at war J! But when it’s over, I begin to respect myself even more. My cross pendant always protects me. My amulet of luck is the love of parents and my beloved sister.’ Sofia will be glad to travel to India, and take her favorite detective and science fiction stories with her. She likes jazz, plays the piano and the flute, ‘I cannot live without stage, and I feel very comfortable being on stage. It gives the adrenaline that charges me. At the ‘New Wave Junior’ I seek knowledge and experience from respected people. I hope that all the finalists will strive for the goal, create, and take care of others: you can do it, just trust yourself!’.

12-year-old Camilla Ismailova participated in many music competitions, including the ‘Junior Eurovision 2015’ (the finalist from the Republic of San Marino). She likes to chat with friends, and also … just sit back and do nothing! She dreams about a big teddy bear. Camilla filled out the ‘New Wave Junior’ finalists’ questionnaire three times because every time it failed to be saved! Her favorite movie is ‘Maleficent’, and a fairytale character – the Unicorn. Her favorite music celebrity is A.Grande. Camilla dreams about a visit to Japan and to take part in a horror movie. She plays the piano, sings from her birth; she began her vocal exercises with her grandmother just ‘sitting on the bench’. She takes part in the ‘ New Wave Junior’ first of all to gain experience. She wishes good luck to herself and to all the participants, ‘I’m happy for anyone who wins!’.

13-year-old Helena Fadievna Meraai participated in ‘Voice. Kids’ song contest (in 2015 – 2016, Moscow, mentor – Dima Bilan). She is the winner of many Grand Prizes and prizes in various television and radio contests. In her spare time, she is reading, hanging out with friends and singing. Her dream is to become famous. She loves sincere people, people of single purpose and with a good sense of humor. She is able to make chipmunks’ voices from the ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’animated movie. Meraai listens to A. Grande, Beyonce, Rihanna, A. Pugacheva, Timati, L’one, E. Sesareva, A. Grizz-lee, D. Bilan, P. Gagarina, Nyusha, as well as to Mozart, Bach, Chopin and others. ‘I have a favorite Pandora bracelet and if I forget to put it on (this happened only twice), the day doesn’t go as planned. Everything changes – my mood, plans and ideas. This is amazing!’, says the finalist. She plays the piano. She started singing over seven years ago. ‘Someone else’s creative work, like music, poetry, and books, inspire me. It is also very important for me that my friends and relatives believe in my potential, they say that I can do it! So I believe in that. And to all the finalists of the ’New Wave Junior’ I wish the best of luck, performance with dignity, and confidence that all participants have already become winners!’.
